How Do I Get Started?
Real Estate is an attractive career choice for military spouses, family members, retirees and existing personnel. Don't wait to request more information about Operation RE/MAX. Fill out the Operation RE/MAX Contact Form an e-mail it to operationremax@remax.net, or call us at 800.826.7720. We look forward to showing you how Operation RE/MAX can take you to the next level.
1. Email Us. If you have not already done so, e-mail your contact information to Operation RE/MAX at operationremax@remax.net. Include the name of the military installation you are/were most recently affiliated with or currently live near, your name, mailing address, e-mail address and phone number. You do not need to live near a military installation to participate in the program.
2. Cost. There is no cost to participate in the Operation RE/MAX program. Depending on the position you choose and your goals, licensing and other fees may apply. Cost shouldn’t be a barrier to your future real estate career. You’re likely to find it insignificant in relation to your earning potential.
If you are concerned about costs, contact the One-Stop Career Center in your area. Counselors will help you apply for educational grants, scholarships, an individual training account or loan opportunities that may be offered through a Trailing Spouse program or other programs with Department of Labor. Funding opportunities vary per state.

3. Find an Office. Contact participating offices in your area. This list is continually expanding as RE/MAX offices register to participate, so if you don’t see an office near you, please contact the RE/MAX regional office listed for your state. Contacting several participating offices will help you determine where you feel most comfortable. Link to find an office.
4. Licensing. learn more about real estate licensing requirements, find pre-licensing and continuing-education schools, and obtain contact information for each state’s real estate regulatory body. Visit our List of Schools for more information.
