Sad news for New Brunswick. Old Bay restaurant in downtown New Brunswick has closed its doors after 30 years of amazing food, good times for many and original live music. However, this property won't stay vacant for long.

The space will soon be occupied by Blackthorn Irish Pub & Restaurant, which will have live music on Friday nights. Opening date is not set yet but it could be sometime in late February or early March. I will keep a listen and report the Grand Opening day here!

check out Panico's. The price is a little higher then most but you will not be disappointed.
They have a wide variety of choices and give you a gracious amount; you might have leftovers for the next day. However, it's that good, you might just eat it all up. Check out the website below:
    Enjoy!

On May 17, 2015, Rutgers University held its Commencement at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway. Graduates from the New Brunswick campus took a step toward their future and were treated to words of wisdom by "Bill Nye the Science Guy" following Nye's advice on Sunday they were awarded undergraduate and graduate degrees. Approximately half of the graduates were in attendance as many had already been recognized in smaller ceremonies. The ceremony on Sunday marked the 249th anniversary commencement for Rutgers.

Originally known as Queen's College, it was renamed Rutgers College in 1825 to honor Colonel Henry Rutgers. A prominent landowner, philanthropist and military officer, his generous donations enabled the school to reopen after it suffered financial difficulty. This "Public Ivy" school is the eighth-oldest college in the United States.

An oasis in the city! This park is one of my favorite places to jog. It is located off of Easton Avenue and close to Rutgers University. This park is quite a popular place because it is located in the center of the city of New Brunswick. On any given day, you can see people taking part in many different activities! The parks emphasis is on exercise. It includes a 1.5 mile loop running path, soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and the historic Buccleuch Mansion. If you are looking for a longer running route then 1.5 miles, the parks running path connects to a path that will bring a person to Johnson Park! In the winter, the park turns into a winter wonderland with sledding and snowball fights. This park is used by a variety of people, including Rutgers students and the residents of New Brunswick, all year round!
