Lambertville Area Insight

  • Look at all the great holiday happenings in NJ/Bucks County. Beautiful decorations, great bargains and fun things for children and grownups. I love to go over the bridge to the town of New Hope with great restaurants, history and small shops. Stop by at the Bucks County Playhouse and see a show or just hang out at one of the cafes and hear a band play.

Just going over the bridge and seeing the Delaware is great. If you look high up to your left you can see the Washington Crossing lookout. You can also enjoy a re-enactment of Washington's Crossing but check for dates. Have a fun time in a great area of Hunterdon County from Lambertville to over the Pennsylvania bridge.

Visiting Lambertville in the fall is a great outing to exercise, shop and spend a day. This quaint town has great antique shops and places to grab a bite to eat, but the highlight is the bicycling trails along the canal. The trails are all level, packed gravel that go on for miles and you can stop and rest while overlooking the Delaware River and benches along the canal. If time permits, you can cross over the bridge into Pennsylvania and visit New Hope town filled with shops, eateries, and even a theatre!
