There is a public hearing this evening Dec. 17th at 7:30 PM at the Borough hall for the rezoning of the High Mountain Golf Course. While many will miss having the convenience of a local golf course - change and growth is ever present in our town. There are plans for the development of 60 single residential homes, 160 carriage homes and 55 affordable housing units. There is also developments for recreational areas plus walking paths. Franklin Lakes continues to thrive and grow. As a resident of the town, our sleepy bedroom community offers a plethora of communities to live in. While we do not have a hustle & bustle downtown area for shopping - rather our town offers the pleasure of slowing down after a hectic busy work day. Close by at hand are Riverside Square mall and the Garden State Plaza which provide all the shopping a person desires. Visit Franklin Lakes and see why so many fall love in with the area.

Donors can select the category: fiction or non fiction plus the age group: tots, children or adults. What a wonderful opportunity to support the friends of the library.
