Brick Area Insight

  • Brick is a very popular destination for North Jersey aquaphiles who either buy or rent here for the easy access to predicable fun in the sun. It has more waterfront frontage and property density than any community in New Jersey...bet you didn't know that! We feature a broad assortment of waterfront options & prices including countless lagoons, the panoramic Barnegat Bay or Manasquan River And, finally the star of our show...the Ocean! Besides waterfront real estate, we have wide selection of affordable single family homes, adult communities and townhouses.

Yes, we were visited by Superstorm Sandy, but we're picking up the pieces and putting things back together. New higher elevation (affordable flood premiums) new construction abounds and will be for years. We will make it "Better Than We Knew", a song I wrote which you can access on YouTube.

Brick Township boasts three separate public access oceanfront beaches with bus service provided at over 30 different locations throughout the town running most of July and August. All are located along Route 35, Brick Beach I and III are complete with restrooms, concessions and parking. Brick Beach II, also known as the "Surfer's Beach", is the least crowded beach of all, the locale of which is a resident secret I am not at liberty to disclose ;-)

Located on the Metedeconk River, Windward Beach Park is home to the popular "Summerfest" concert series that takes place every Thursday during the summer with fireworks on certain scheduled days. Windward Beach Park, along with some of the other parks around Brick, also present "Movies in the Park". The park boasts bocce ball leagues, car shows, yoga classes, a town yard sale, youth summer camps as well as a playground and a bay beach open for swimming, crabbing, fishing, volleyball and horseshoes. There are three areas of the park along with other park locations around Brick that can be rented by the public for exclusive use. These are the band shell area, the gazebo and the picnic area.

New Jersey's best kept secret right here in Brick, the Park and Marina is an 11-acre property located on the northern side of Mantoloking Road just west of the Mantoloking Bridge. Formerly a private marina that was purchased by the Township in 2005 to halt the development of high-density condominiums, the Park and Marina has become a place for the community to utilize for various summer activities. Brick Township has received nearly $9,000,000 in grants to help fund the acquisition and development of Traders Cove keeping the acquisition of the park both fiscally responsible as well as a proud community landmark for years to come.

The newly constructed park is complete with new bulkheads, a public boat ramp, a travel lift, a walking path, picnic benches, parking facilities, landscaping and playground. Currently being constructed and in future plans include floating docks, transient boat slips and a resource building. The floating docks and slips located at the park will provide easy access to the recently reopened and ever so popular F and T Coves which are summer staples for the seagoing patrons of the area. The park was included in the United States Department of the Interior's "America's Great Outdoors Fifty State Report" which highlights conservation projects throughout the United States.
