There are so many reasons to celebrate the life, service and contributions of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. But you might not know about his direct influence on the passing of the Fair Housing Act in 1968.
Thanks to King's leadership, it's illegal for anyone to discriminate against homebuyers and sellers based on race, religion or gender. What a tremendous part of his legacy.
