DENVER, CO – RE/MAX LLC has been named one of the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities by the National Minority Franchising Initiative through the World Franchising Network. The sixth annual survey judged franchisors on their commitment to the recruitment, inclusion and ongoing support of minorities.
RE/MAX is the only real estate company to make the Top 50 list and joins recognized and well-respected companies in other industries, such as McDonalds, 7-Eleven and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
“We proud of our diversity and proud to offer all new franchisees tremendous opportunities and the chance to run their own business their own way,” said RE/MAX CEO Margaret Kelly. “Our company, our offices and our agents are helping drive this housing recovery at a critical time and we welcome forward-thinking entrepreneurs to join us.”
RE/MAX franchisees have access to extensive training from award-winning RE/MAX University, as well as technology, tools and resources like the full RE/MAX Mobile suite, RE/MAX Leadstreet® and the online customizable marketing toolkit, Design Center. RE/MAX has long been recognized as a leader in franchisee support and commitment.
RE/MAX has added a significant number of new franchises this year, with franchise sales through September up 22% over the same period last year. In Brazil, sales are 229% higher than 2011 and in Southern Africa sales are up 77%. RE/MAX has also continued to add new countries to its network, opening offices in Morocco, Thailand and the Philippines. The first RE/MAX office in China is expected to open the first quarter of 2013.
As proof of the success of its offices and agents, RE/MAX, LLC was also once again named one of the top franchises for worldwide sales volume in the 2012 Franchise Times Top 200 survey. This is the fourth year in a row RE/MAX was the highest ranked real estate franchise.
