Kevin Northrup oversees regional operations in the RE/MAX California & Hawaii Region.
Kevin joined RE/MAX in 2002 as a Franchise Development Consultant. He moved up to Senior Franchise Development Consultant and Assistant Regional Director before being promoted in 2005 to Region Vice President of RE/MAX Pacific Northwest.
In 2012, his role changed and expanded, as he took leadership of the RE/MAX Central Atlantic and RE/MAX Carolinas Regions. In June 2014, he was promoted to his current position.
Kevin was born in Kingston, N.Y., moved to Hilton Head Island, S.C., during middle school, and graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in Finance. He played for the Clemson baseball team and remains an avid fan of the Tigers.
After college, Kevin played professional baseball in the Montreal Expos, New York Mets, New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics organizations before retiring from the game in 1997.
Kevin then worked for Bridgestone/Firestone in the Denver area; as General Manager, he was responsible for all aspects of growth and operations in his business units. In two consecutive years, he set company records for both unit sales and net income.
Kevin and his wife, Tanya – a former editor in the RE/MAX Communications Department – have three children and live in Highlands Ranch, Colo. Kevin enjoys skiing, camping, and spending most weekends rooting for his kids’ soccer, lacrosse, hockey and baseball teams.
