Responsibilities:
Elena Dean oversees regional operations in the RE/MAX Mountain States Region, which includes Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
RE/MAX career:
Elena joined RE/MAX in 2006 as a Franchise Development Consultant with RE/MAX Central Atlantic, and in 2008 was promoted to Assistant Regional Director for RE/MAX California & Hawaii. She later served as Assistant Regional Director for RE/MAX Pacific Northwest, before taking on her current role in 2011.
Roots:
Elena grew up in western New York and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in French and International Studies. She performed with several musical groups in college, and was a member of the Casque and Gauntlet Honor Society. She then embarked on a distinguished career with the U.S. State Department and Department of Defense, with postings in Rome, Brussels, Berlin and Washington, D.C. As a civilian employee in the Department of Defense, she worked with corporations to identify emerging technologies and integrate them into national strategic defense objectives.
Personal:
Elena is married and has two children and three large dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, music and teaching about health, nutrition and wellness. A first-generation American, she speaks French, German, Swedish and Macedonian.
