David Ferguson is a Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners, a global, independent advisory and asset-management firm. He has been in the private-equity industry for more than 23 years and has served on the board of directors for more than 30 former portfolio companies.
Prior to Perella Weinberg Partners, David was a partner at Weston Presidio and also a partner at JPMorgan Chase Partners. He was a member of the mergers and acquisitions groups of Bankers Trust New York Corporation and Prudential Securities, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant and worked in the audit departments of KPMG and Deloitte & Touche.
David received a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He received a doctorate in Commercial Science, honoris causa, from Loyola University Maryland.
David is married and has three children.
